#2. Atmanirbhar Krishi Yojana was earlier known by the name of “Chief Minister’s Sashakt Kisan Yojana” but its name has been changed as it provides better facilities now.

Atmanirbhar Krishi Bagwani Yojana Meaning and Features
#1. Atmanirbhar Krishi Bagwani Yojana was launched by Pema Khandu to boost the horticulture sector of the state.
#2. Earlier this scheme was known as Chief Minister’s Sashakt Kisan Yojna which was under the department of Horticulture.
#3. Under this scheme, a woman who belongs to self-help groups can take up to a loan of Rs. 10 lakhs without collateral security.
#4. Loans obtained by women in this scheme can be used for the cultivation of fruits like kiwi, apples, oranges, nuts, walnut, etc.
#5. The primary objective behind this scheme is to provide assistance to the self-help groups which have women members.
#6. The CM of AP said that around 3700 Self Help Groups will be benefitted from the launch of this special scheme.
#7. In this scheme, 45% of the subsidy is borne by the government, 45% by banks, and only 10% by the farmers of the state.
