The MP government has announced to spend up to 60 thousand crore rupees under this Yojana in the next coming 5 years.

The government has announced the provision of ₹1000 monthly to women under the MP Ladli Behna Yojana. With the help of this scheme, around 1 crore women in the state will be benefitted as the amount will be deposited directly into their respective bank accounts.
What is MP Ladli Behna Yojana 2023?
Ladli Behna Yojana is a Yojana started by the Madhya Pradesh government in 2023 with an aim to strengthen the economic status of women and empower them in society.
This Yojana was started by the Chief Minister of Madhya Pradesh, Shivraj Singh Chouhan on the occasion of Narmada Jayanti. The main aim of this Yojana is to provide financial assistance of ₹1000 per month to the lower and middle-class women of the state.
MP Ladli Behna Yojana 2023 was announced by the MP government in January month, but the implementation of the scheme begins on 5 March 2023.
The women of MP can receive a total sum of ₹12000 in financial form under this Yojana in 1 year. A sum of ₹1000 will be directly transferred to the women’s bank account every month.

Eligibility Criteria for MP Ladli Behna Yojana 2023

#1. Only women of Madhya Pradesh can enjoy the benefits of this Yojana and other states women are not eligible for this Yojana.
#2. The women’s age group must be between 23 – 60 years to avail of the benefits of this scheme.
#3. This scheme is only for the women of Madhya Pradesh. Men of MP can’t enjoy the benefits of this scheme.
#4. This Yojana is open to all women in MP, regardless of whether they are married, widowed, divorced, or abandoned.
#5. Women will be eligible for this scheme only if the annual income of the sister’s family is less than Rs 2 lakh 50 thousand.
#6. Women will not be eligible for this scheme if their family has more than 5 acres of agricultural land.
