Only the eligible farmers (who meet the following criteria) can apply for the scheme –

#1. The applicant must be a permanent citizen of India. NRIs aren’t allowed.

#2. The applicant must be a farmer and should fall under the Small and marginal farmer category.

#3. He/She should be between the age of 18 – 60 years. (Relaxation in the age is subject to State Government’s decision)

#4. The family income of the applicant is an important criterion when deciding on the eligibility criteria. The candidate’s annual income should not be more than INR 1.5 Lakhs per annum.

#5. The applicant should have agricultural land under his/her name.

#6. The candidate must not be a registered beneficiary of a similar kind of subsidy scheme.

#7. Lastly, the applicant should ensure that they haven’t bought a tractor in the last 7 years.

#4. Under the additional scheme related to Mini Tractors, the limit of the plan to get its accessories will be 3 lakh 50 thousand rupees. The balance amount of the above will be paid to the farmers or members of self-help groups.

However, unlike other Central Government schemes, the online application for the PM Kisan Tractor Yojana is not available. You have to fill out the form physically at your nearest centre.
